On 12 October 2022, THE released the result of its rankings which placed Walailak University at 1501+. This translates to 11th rank in Thailand. THE’s World University Rankings (WUR) assessed about 1,800 universities out of 26,000 universities in the world. Previously, Walailak University has been ranked by THE Impact Rankings category which placed Walailak University at 600 – 800th, and QS Asia University Rankings at 19th among Thai universities.
