On July 3, 2026, Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University, presided over a royal blessing and alms-offering ceremony in celebration of the upcoming birthday anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana on July 4, 2026. The event took place at the Bussarakham Meeting Room, Natural History Museum Building.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Theerapong Chueachoo, Deputy Governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, alongside executive members, staff, and students of Walailak University. Representatives from both public and private sectors, as well as members of the surrounding community, gathered to express their loyalty and profound gratitude for Her Royal Highness’s boundless dedication and Royal Initiatives for the nation and its people.
On this auspicious occasion, Walailak University students performed a traditional Thai blessing dance before the portrait of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana. Subsequently, representatives from internal university departments, student leaders, representatives from the Walailak Pattana Demonstration Community, and external agencies presented floral tributes in reverence.
